Beta readers keep the Reader plan free until the end of February 2027.
About paying for Lumen
Is there a yearly plan?
No. Every plan is monthly, so you only pay for the months you read with Lumen.
What happens if I go back to Free?
Nothing is deleted. You keep reading and searching every highlight; new ones beyond 200 wait until you return or export.
How do I pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Invoices with VAT arrive by email every month.
Can I move from Reader to Library later?
Yes, at any time. You pay the difference for the rest of the month and invite the others from the app.
Do students pay less?
Students and teachers get Reader for €2 a month. Write to us from your school or university address after the launch.
